||This is Mr. Bill. When he was 18, his owners decided he’s probably
too old to survive another winter outdoors. They wanted to put him to
sleep. But our veterinarian friend would not euthanize him since he
seemed very healthy and happy.
She asked the owners if she could do blood work on him at her own
expense and if everything looked good would they surrender him to Conrad
Strays. Long story short, he was in excellent health, got his teeth cleaned and
went into foster. 1 year later the same kind veterinarian adopted him to
be her new clinic cat!
Things happen for a reason. Mr. Bill was thankful for his new, warm,
loving, safe indoor life. He lived three more years to the ripe old,
happy, spoiled age of 22.
